From the early hours of the morning, Huancavelican children, youth, adults and elderly people from the town center of Carhuapata, in the district of Lircay, in the province of Angaraes, began a march towards the city of Lima.
The reason for this peaceful mobilization, which is called by the Carhuapatinos “the sacrificial march”, is with the purpose of reaching the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) so that the populated center becomes a district.
