With new plans and challenges and incorporating a new work methodology, Dr. Algis Torres, a specialist in psychiatry with vast experience as a regional director, took over the Regional Directorate of North Panama.
Torres met with the new team and discussed several topics, including the essential one, which is to reduce the number of dengue cases in the region, which have increased in recent weeks in different communities in the northern districts.
“Those who know me know that I am not a man who stays in a cold office… I execute and am involved in all the operations that are carried out, with my work team,” Torres said.
He also indicated that his administration will be open-door and that he expects the support of the technical team he has formed.
