A 24-year-old girl, identified as Shirley GM, was murdered in the city of La Paz and for this new fact, two male people are prosecuted.
“The Public Ministry became aware of the death of a female person. This event would have happened in the Pampahasi area, on public roads“said prosecutor Gustavo Valdez.
According to official information from the Public Ministry, The event occurred on April 19, around 12:00, when the young woman was “sharing” with the two subjects now involved in the crime.
“After the loss of her cell phone (the young woman), there was an argument and fight(then) the woman grabbed a knife and injured one of the accused, at which point that subject would have grabbed the victim and stabbed her,” quotes an information note from the Prosecutor’s Office.
The woman was found with a knife stuck in her neck. and the main accused of the crime was also suffering from puncture wounds.
Valdez said that due to this incident, two people were taken to police stations and were later charged with the crimes of feminicide and cover-up, respectively.
“In the morning hours of this Sunday, the hearing on precautionary measures (for both) was held and the jurisdictional authority has determined for one of the accused (Diego ACP, 35 years old) his preventive detention in the Chonchocoro prison for a period of six months”he reported.
While for the second defendant (Antonio JZ, 34 years old), house arrest was ordered, a bail of Bs 40,000, arraignment, appearance before the Public Ministry every Monday and the prohibition of consuming alcoholic beverages.
