The WBSC (World Baseball & Softball Confederation) announced the Groups of the Premier Cup 12, leaving Panama in Group A to be played in Mexico between November 10 and 14, 2024.
In Group A, the teams from Mexico (2 in the world), the United States (3), Venezuela (6), the Netherlands (7), Panama (10) and Puerto Rico (12) were established.
In Group B to be played in Tokyo, Japan, between November 13 and 18, the teams from Japan (number 1 in the world), Korea (4), Taiwan (5), Cuba (8), Dominican Republic ( 9) and Australia (11).
The best two in each group advance to the super round and the two best in the super round go for the gold medal.
The Super Round will be played from November 21 to 23 and the medal matches will be played on November 24.
