Carreira: “This country is not fertile territory to bring solutions, neither from Venezuela nor from Nicaragua”

Angel Valdes | May 23, 2023

The pre-candidate for the Free Nomination for the Presidency of the Republic, Francisco Carreira, was in the booth of Radio Panama talking about the signature process that is taking place where he is currently in fourth place because Professor Maribel Gordón surpassed him a few days ago for the third position.

Carreira has no doubts that he will be among the three independent candidates for the Presidency of the Republic «this process ends on July 30 and the positions will be seen there, I hope to be among the three candidates, so that you do not have the slightest doubt because I am the The only truly independent country, on the other hand, this country has no place for the left, this country is not fertile territory to bring solutions, neither from Venezuela nor from Nicaragua, nor to try to dress the processes that are being experienced in these countries as democracy.”

Regarding the support that Professor Gordon is receiving with the signatures in recent weeks, Carreira said: “If you have the entire structure of a Construction Workers Union, plus the structure of Frenadeso, plus all the resources they have, that goes to translate into signatures, but here they have tried on previous occasions to have a political party and it has not even been possible to register with a third of the signatures they have today.
