A ‘teacher of the year’, arrested for allegedly having sex with a minor

The bride, who followed in her fiancé’s footsteps when she found out what he had done, is hospitalized in critical condition.

This Tuesday, a couple from the Indian city of Indore, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, consumed poison on their wedding day after having an altercation before the ceremony.

The groom, who was not sure whether to marry, lost his life, while the bride is in critical condition, reportsno local media.

“As soon as the bride found out that the groom had consumed poison, she also drank it. Doctors declared the man dead, while the condition of the woman, who is on life support, remains very serious,” Khan said.

For their part, relatives of the 21-year-old boy pointed out that the 20-year-old woman had been pressuring the groom to get married, but he was not convinced to do so.

At the moment, the authorities continue with the corresponding investigations to determine the causes that led the couple to poison themselves.
