There is an armed lawsuit in the bases of Chavismo, given the denunciations of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) that political operators of the government of Nicolás Maduro are organizing an “assault” on the party of the red rooster, now faced with the decisions of Miraflores.
For this Sunday, May 21, an “Extraordinary Bases Congress” of the PCV was convened in which alleged militants of that organization would denounce the disaffection with the authorities and open the door to a judicial intervention. At least it is what is denounced from those who defend the red awning.
On Monday, May 16, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela denounced that a new phase of the assault plan being advanced by the leadership of the Government of Nicolás Maduro to take the PCV by assault is underway. “It is headed towards holding a supposed totally fraudulent congress of what they call the Patriotic PCV, which is nothing more than a government-controlled PCV,” warned Pedro Eusse, a member of the Political Bureau.
The leader explained that this supposed congress will not be held with militants of the Communist Party of Venezuela “but with mercenaries hired by the leadership of the State, by Diosdado Cabello and other heads of the government party.”
“This is an infamous thing that is directed, of course, to prevent the working class from counting on its Communist Party for the elections,” added Eusse.

Recently the National Directorate of the Red Rooster Party presented a dossier detailing the actions of politicians such as Diosdado Cabello or Jesús Faría Tortosa in this assault plan.
On social networks, opponents of the denounced actions have used the hashtag #IDefendthePCVand even Chavismo propagandists such as Oswaldo Rivero and Larissa Costasnow away from the VTV screens, or Luigino Bracci and María Alejandra Díaz, former constituent of 2017 and former darling of La Hojilla, among other Chavismo activists critical of the policies of Nicolás Maduro.
They have also received support from the communist parties of other countries such as Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico and even the youth of Moscow or Prague.

If the “assault” on the PCV takes place, this electoral card would be added to those previously intervened by the pro-government sector itself, such as PPT, Tupamaro or UPV, in addition to many of the opposition such as Primero Justicia, Acción Democrática, Copei, Voluntad Popular and others.
