The IAVA union, together with the Dámaso and IPA unions, demonstrates in front of the Codicen headquarters on Libertador Avenue

The students of the IAVA Lyceum, with the guild spokesman Geronimo Sena to the headHE demonstrate at this time in front of the headquarters of the Central Board of Directors (Codicen) of the National Administration of Public Education (Anep) in claim for the “violence“that they understand are being exercised by the authorities, both from Education and the Police. There are also students from the Dámaso high school and the Artigas Institute of Teachers (Ceipa).
“The police are increasingly violent“, expressed Sena in dialogue with The Observer and recalled the episode that took place this Thursday at the Dámaso high school, in which the students occupied the center for several hours and were finally evicted by the Police.
Earlier this Friday, the IAVA union blocked Eduardo Acevedo street at the corner with 18 de Julio.
“We are 30 jerks who are demonstrating with the strength of the worldFrom the depths of our hearts now, because we are all very tired… That they come with so much repertoire to repress underage gurises… We don’t think so at all. This does not end here. A stick doesn’t scare us, neither does a helmet“Sena explained.
And he added that the demands of this Friday are no longer from the IAVA but from the entire “student movement.”
During the demonstration, the students sang to the police: “In the forest of China a soldier got lost, I hope they all get lost the yuta that gave birth to them.”
