The exhibition “Medusa’s Hope”, by the Belgian artist Koen Vanmechelen, remains open from Thursday to Sunday, at regular times, in the Universal Art Building of the National Museum of Fine Arts.
As part of the sample, the Cubalaya chickens stand out, a species native to Cuba that had become extinct in the country. During the XII Havana Biennial, in 2015, Koen reintroduced this type of bird to reproduce at the island’s Flora and Fauna Center.
In the National Museum of Fine Arts, as part of the aforementioned sample, the reproduction of these animals has also been obtained.
