Colombian platform Rocketfy.co arrives in Peru

With the start of operations of the Rocketfy.co platform in Peru, it is projected that small Peruvian shops and businesses will place more than 100,000 orders by the end of the year, generating sales of more than US$3 million.

The behavior of electronic commerce in Latin America is positive and this industry is advancing at a good pace in the region. According to Statista Digital Insights, the number of digital buyers in Latam could increase by more than 20% by 2025 compared to the currently estimated 371 million buyers. This growth will be partly driven by the digitally literate youth population, in addition to the rapid expansion of the Internet and the penetration of smartphones.

To respond to the growing adoption of electronic commerce in Peru, the startup Rocketfy.co has just announced its entry into Peru, the third international country in which the company will be present, taking into account that it already has operations in Mexico and will soon land in Brazil.

The enterprise, which to date registers sales of more than US$34 million de GMV, has 45,000 active users and makes nearly 150,000 shipments and shipments each month through its platform, has set itself the goal of supporting and accompanying all Peruvian entrepreneurs so that they can sell on-line on a professional way.

In numbers, the company at the end of 2023 plans to have an impact on more than 50,000 sellers and small merchants, generate up to 100,000 orders and invoice sales of more than US$3 million.

“In practice, all entrepreneurs who have their own products will be able to start selling through our platform and dispatch their merchandise with our logistics partners. Likewise, through the dropshipping modality, they will be able to market products from different suppliers and earn a commission for the orders,” said Ana Lemoine, Rocketfy Country Manager in Peru.

As the main differential, the Startup announced that its platform will integrate the entrepreneur’s website, its shipments, payments and products in one place, added to the fact that it will also provide free advice to people interested in entering the e-commerce market and will provide information to merchants, with precise data and analytics, which will allow them to start selling from scratch or increase the current sales of their virtual store as well as the profitability of their businesses.

“We arrived in Peru to connect all the necessary applications in a single place so that small shops and businesses can start billing online in just 3 minutes, from their own store or through social networks, through payments electronic or cash on delivery. Everything in one place, with no setup, startup or maintenance costs, or additional apps,” added Lemoine.

To start selling through this platform, entrepreneurs must enter the site and create my store, then select Peru in the list of countries and finally complete the form.
