Cedeño: “The use of a mask is no longer mandatory, but it is still a recommendation”

The regional director of Health of Panama Metro, Israel Cedeño, in an interview on Radio Panama spoke about the elimination of the mandatory use of the mask. He indicated that the use of the mask will always be a recommendation.

“Current legislation says that masks will only be used in a mandatory manner in medical care centers, it is no longer mandatory in public transport, it is no longer mandatory in people who work handling food, serving customers, the same is the recommendation to restaurant owners can make the decision that, at least the one who cooks, wears a mask, especially if he goes to work and has respiratory symptoms, these are matters of common sense, of self-protection, always looking for health to prevail, not only the individual, but also the collective.
