The Ministry of Health informs the general population that due to the celebration of Holy Week, Blue Alert is declared in all health facilities in the country, from Wednesday 5 to Sunday in April 2023.
The Ministry of Health establishes the measure in all the Health Regions so that, given the possibility of an adverse event, they are urged to:
Update Disaster Emergency Response programs at the Regional level and Health Facilities.
Prepare the contingency plan for Blue Alert for Easter in the Health Region and extend its opening hours if necessary.
It also establishes the monitoring of events that are generated in coverage areas and preparing the expansion of space and services due to a potential increase in patients, if necessary.
Alert the Risk Management and Emergency Response Committee and reinforce the inventory of the necessary supplies and medicines, with a reserve for three months, is another of the established provisions.
