The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen will premiere on July 6 of this year in Japan. This was revealed by TOHO, with an official trailer and a poster, published within the framework of AnimeJapan 2023.
New episodes will adapt the arc “Kaigyōku/Gyokusetsu” and the “Shibuya Incident”. The franchise remains in the hands of the MAPPA studio, which was behind the first season and the 2021 film. Both works are available on Crunchyroll.
Yuji Itadori is a high school student with incredible physical abilities leading a normal life. One day, in order to save her schoolmate from a “curse”, she eats “Sukuna’s Finger”, a bewitched object, putting a curse on his soul.
Itadori, who now shares his body with Sukuna, an evil spirit. For this reason, he is transferred to an institution specialized in spells, the Tokyo Metropolitan Spell Technical Schoolto be instructed by, Satoru Gojo, the most powerful sorcerer.
