COVID: Low level of contagion to 10,234 cases in one day, the lowest since January

Currently, the incidence rate of accumulated cases is 182,986 per 100,000 inhabitants, while the distribution by sex, in confirmed deaths, shows a male predominance of 62%. The median age is 64 years.

The entities with the most infections are Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, San Luis Potosí, Puebla, Veracruz and Sonora. Together they make up 64% of all accumulated cases in the country.

In addition, there are 647,259 suspected cases of COVID in the country; 8 million 622,171 tested negative and there are an estimated 182,986 active cases.

Until February 4, 2022, 386 million 548,962 infections (2 million 871,646 new cases) and 5 million 705,754 deaths (11,527 new deaths) are reported worldwide. The global lethality is 1.5%.
