The proposed legislative agenda for this year 2023 continues to develop as planned, especially with regard to street parliamentarianism, where bills continue to be debated with the people.
In this sense, the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, specified that the institution he represents is working on a legislative plan for the future and emphasized that this year is characterized by work to guarantee the attention of the population.
“This year should be the year of consolidation of all the laws of People’s Power,” he said.
He stressed that the 2023 Legislative Plan contemplates the approval of 28 laws, distributed in five blocks, which are in perfect accordance with the lines of action proposed by President Nicolás Maduro Moros at the beginning of the year.

Economic: Reform of the Public Procurement Law, Digital Commerce Law, Organic Law of Coordination and Harmonization of the Tax Powers of the States and Municipalities, Reform of the Organic Law of the Communal Economic System, Law for the Protection and Promotion of Agave Cocui-Cocuy, Law for the Promotion of Non-Traditional Exports.
Public services: Reform of the Comprehensive Waste Management Law, Organic Water Law, Organic Law of the Electrical System and Service, Risk Management Law, Citizen Coexistence Law.
Popular power: Reform of the Organic Law of Popular Power, Reform of the Organic Law of Communes, Reform of the Organic Law of Communal Councils, Reform of the Organic Law of Social Comptrollership
Judicial Revolution: Reform of the Law of the Justice System, Law of the Judicial Career, Law of the Inspectorate of Courts, Law of the National School of the Magistracy, Law of Truth and Historical Memory on Human Rights.
Human development: Special Law for Workers with Disabilities, Special Law for Agricultural Workers, Law for Comprehensive Care for People with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Organic Law for Women’s Equality, and Law for Civil Protection of Children and Adolescents, Reform part of the Law for the Protection and Defense of Cultural Heritage, Law for Student Participation in the Basic Education Subsystem, Organic Law for the Equality, Integration and Comprehensive Development of People with Disabilities.
