Another of the activities that the public was able to enjoy was an immersive dome, a new -state-of-the-art- concept in event organizations, a chameleon-like space capable of transforming itself and making viewers live a unique experience. On this occasion, a video was projected in fulldome format (360°) with a duration of 8 minutes, which combined material recorded in 360º format with graphics and 3D animations that were building a story about the Buenos Aires identity.

On the map of the province, an animated assistant (that is, a 3D character) planted “cultural flags” that reflected the Buenos Aires identity and functioned as a common thread from which natural and urban landscapes, cultural and sports experiences were connected.

“We are convinced that they are spaces in which the State must guarantee the right to culture and productions from Buenos Aires. It is a pride for us to be part of this anniversary in which we promote proposals with established artists who coexist with emerging artists from our province”, said the president of the Buenos Aires Cultural Institute, Florencia Saintout.

For her part, María Piovani, chief of staff of the Cultural Institute, highlighted before the press: “We seek to build the Buenos Aires identity from the heterogeneity of proposalsa very familiar programming was thought of and we are very happy that the Government of the province can be guaranteeing access to culture for multiple audiences”.

Among the samples of the different Ministries, the series that is presented through the YouTube channel of the Buenos Aires Government of the portfolio of Women, Gender Policies and Sexual Diversity stands out. Its research director, Sol Calandria, explained that “It’s an adventure series about four women scientists who embark on a mission to Antarctica, it’s part of the ‘Science Without Stereotypes’ program.”

The inspiration was the little-known story of these four women, who were the first to be allowed to go on a scientific campaign in Antarctica. “Recovering that history allowed us to make that trajectory visible and show a collective work,” said Calandria.

For his part, Federico Alberino, video game coordinator for Culture, spoke about other aspects of FINDE: “We support video game developers and Esports players who are growing every year. The idea is that the boys learn that with dedication and work they can have a future. The idea is to bring the industry together with the kids who want to play”.
