Alejandro Astesiano, taking advantage of his power as chief custodian of the President of the Republic, together with a command from the Ministry of the Interior, spied on the president of the Pit-Cnt, Marcelo Abdala, when he was drunk and had a car accident; and underage students and teachers they considered “communists” at Liceo 41 in Montevideo.
That arose from an audio from the only cell phone (of three) that the prosecutor Gabriela Fossasti is investigating from Astesiano.
The Pit-Cnt issued a statement rejecting this practice during the dictatorship, where all freedoms were prohibited.
