The president Dina Boluarte He closed his Twitter account today in the midst of the demonstrations that are taking place in the country and that demand his resignation from office.
From the Government Palace they confirmed Peru21 that Boluarte herself decided to cancel the @DinaErcilia account. The president was active from this channel when she was in charge of the Ministry of Social Inclusion and she was vice president of the Republic.
“Yes (the account was closed), it had no movement. Everything for the official account (of the Presidency) now”, the sources pointed out to this newspaper.
Boluarte Zegarra will complete two months as President of the Republic next week. Since Pedro Castillo perpetrated the coup, on December 7, 2022, different Castillista and left-wing groups have called for his departure despite the fact that the Constitution establishes his succession.
