This Tuesday, Foreign Minister Yván Gil brings the Bolivarian Agenda for peace and integration of Venezuela to the VII Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), where he participates as head of the country’s delegation.
In this context, the Minister of Foreign Affairs holds meetings with the representatives of the 33 nations present at the Latin American event, including Argentina, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Honduras.

we are in celebration of the VII Summit of CELAC-Argentina to make our voice alive and consolidate the integrationist efforts of the Latin American and Caribbean union as its founders dreamed of!” The Venezuelan Foreign Minister published in his account on the social network Twitter.
One of those meetings at the Celac summit was with Ralph Gonsalves, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, with whom the Foreign Minister reviewed the progress of bilateral cooperation.
“With joy we held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, with whom we reviewed the progress of current bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed our mutual commitment,” Gil pointed out.
In a message on the social network Twitter, the head of the Venezuelan delegation at the VII Summit also congratulated Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for assuming the Celac 2023 Pro Tempore Presidency.
Venezuela and Honduras strengthen strategic cooperation
The VII Celac Summit was also the scene of a new meeting between Venezuela and Honduras. There, the Minister for Foreign Relations of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, and his counterpart and Minister of International Cooperation of the Republic of Honduras, Enrique Reina, held a meeting in which they discussed matters of mutual interest. . The meeting was propitious to continue strengthening binational strategic cooperation.
“As part of our agenda at the VII Celac Summit, together with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Honduras, Enrique Reina, we addressed different issues of interest to continue strengthening the strategic cooperation that unites our nations,” he said.
Venezuela present at Celac reaffirms its commitment
This Monday, through a releasethe Venezuelan Government announced that Foreign Minister Yván Gil would attend the Summit as head of delegation, due to “a plan drawn up within the neo-fascist right, whose objective is to carry out a series of aggressive actions against our delegation headed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, for which they intend to put on a deplorable “show”, in order to disturb the positive effects of such an important regional event, and thus contribute to the discredit campaign – already unsuccessful – that It has been launched against our country from the North American empire”.
Venezuela reaffirms, once again, “before the member countries of CELAC and our peoples, the unwavering commitment to promote unity and integration as a fundamental path towards the independence and development of our region”, reads the document.
The country’s delegation is also made up of the vice ministers for Multilateral Issues, Rubén Darío Molina, and for Latin America, Rander Peña.
