Gobernador de Apure

The governor of the state of Apure, Eduardo Piñate, pointed out that various political leaders such as the former governor of Apure Luis Lippa and several regional legislators allegedly manipulate the motivations of educators in the protests “and what they seek is to overthrow the government of President Maduro ”

The governor of Apure state, Eduardo Piñate, once again questioned various political leaders of the regional opposition who have recently appeared in the days of protests carried out by state teachers and other public workers in the entity.

In the speech offered this Monday, January 23, at the end of the march called in San Fernando by the regional ruling party against economic sanctions, the president reiterated what he had already warned on a radio program last Saturday, January 21.

He pointed out that political leaders such as the former governor of Apure Luis Lippa, from PJ, the current regional legislators Aurelio Guerra (PJ) and Marcelo Tirado (AD-Ramos Allup), Daniel Tirado (AD-Ramos Allup), supposedly manipulate the motivations of the educators in the protests “and what they seek is to overthrow the government of President Maduro.”

From Lippa, also a former deputy to the AN in 2015, Piñate pointed out that “when he was governor he repressed the working people, he stole the workers’ ticket basket and for that reason they disqualified him.”

But the criticisms of the PSUV director at the national level were also directed against the union leaders of the Apureño teachers José Martín Paredes, Boffil Torres and Minerva, the latter president of Fetrapure.

Of the trade unionists, he said that they also sought to conspire “against the revolution but they are not going to achieve it.”

On the stage, Piñate was accompanied by national deputies for Apure Jesús Suárez Chourio, Orlando Zambrano and Fernando Acosta, as well as the mayors of San Fernando and Biruaca, Ofelia Padrón and José Franco, respectively.

Among the participants in the activity were workers from Hidrollanos, INTI, the State Comptroller’s Office, the Educational Zone, mayors’ offices, heads of UBCH and members of GPP parties, among others.

The data

Despite the incessant claims for various debts of the government of Apure with the teachersthe potential migration of the state teacher payroll to the national one of the Ministry of Education and the non-discussion of a new state collective agreement, Piñate has not responded to any of these approaches.
