What are the professions with the highest demand in 2022?

The pandemic changed priorities when hiring new personal. Technological and process digitization skills are increasingly sought after. Labor market trends, according to the consultancy Atlantis, point to a growing demand for professionals in five areas:

Health care.- The pandemic made these professionals more in demand and ensures that the field of medical care will be important in the future.

Information technology.- The demand for software and application developers has increased; but one of the country’s structural problems is that there is an annual deficit of this type of profiles.

Supply chain management.- Logistics-related professions have also become more important. This includes purchasing agents, logistics analysts, distribution managers, and even industrial engineers.

Financial management.- Careers in this field are expected to grow 15% over the next decade. Companies are looking for personal trained to examine expenses and income and maximize profitability.

Actuarial and statistical.- the field of data and statistics is also growing. For their part, actuaries are able to assess risk, which is an increasingly sought-after skill, says ‘Forbes’.

For its part, according to an investigation by the World Economic Forum, in countries like Ecuador, the year 2022 will open more opportunities to professionals linked to activities related to: supply chains and transportation, travel and tourism, biotechnology, consumption, financial services and investments, information and communication technologies, infrastructure and professional services.

Likewise, the Linkedin platform also prepared a list with the most requested profiles for 2022, within its latest report of jobs with the highest demand:

1.- Specialist in growth marketing.
2.- Expert in search engines.
3.- Digital content creator: copywriter, youtuber, instagramer or blogger.
4.- Customer experience manager or experience manager.
5.- Seller.
6.- Specialist in e-commerce.
7.- Supervisor of e-commerce logistics operations.
8.- Personal or professional mentor.
9.- Customer service specialist.
10.- Teachers with digital skills.
11.- Mental health professionals.
12.- Product manager.

That platform recommends that anyone looking for job opportunities should work on skills that adapt to the current environment and job market, regardless of the area in which they specialize.

Those skills have to do with analytical thinking and innovation, initiative, technology design, programming and critical thinking.

Rocío Verdesoto, a human talent consultant, commented that the digital skillsin addition to content creation skills.
