María Estela Galeano, from the Association of Cancer Patients of the Itauguá National Hospital, denounced that the promise of the Ministry of Health is not being fulfilled.
“They said that the medicines were going to arrive, but only minimal quantities arrived. What do we do at the country level with 10 vials? We have to receive it on time and in a proper way, cancer does not wait”, said Galeano in communication with 650 AM.

He argued that the meetings are no longer necessary and that they should rather act and resume the treatments.
After a dialogue with Public Health, the Ministry of Finance reallocated 100,000 million guaraníes to the National Cancer Institute (Incan) last Wednesday.
The session of the Permanent Commission that was to convene the plenary session of Deputies to study said reprogramming, did not have a quorum, but it will no longer be necessary to discuss any project.
Rita Villalba, General Director of Health Administration and Finance, confirmed that This reassignment was completed with a simple decree and no bill will be required.
