Santo Domingo.-The Ministry of Public Health reported 32 new cases of Covid-19 and zero deaths from the disease that arrived in the country in 2019 and that for weeks returned to regain strength in the Dominican population, after a low season.
According to bulletin number 1030, issued by the National Epidemiology Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health, the total number of samples processed in the last 24 hours was 1,132, of these 39 are PCR and 1,093 are antigenic.
In addition, it establishes that the total number of deaths is 4,384 while the accumulated cases amount to 659,695. Likewise, the report shows that 290 remain active, while 655,021 have recovered from the virus and 3,126,006 have been ruled out by laboratory tests.
Daily positivity stands at 4.32%, and in the last four weeks at 7.61%.
The bulletin of the Ministry of Public Health indicates that the fatality rate is 0.66% and the mortality per million inhabitants stands at 419. 58.

The hospital network has 2,373 Covid beds, of which 15 are occupied, for 0.6 percent, while in intensive care unit (ICU) beds there are 585 available, and only 1 are occupied for 0.2%.
