A subject was detained by officials of the Homicide Axis of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (cicpc), in Guanare, Portuguesa state, for allegedly being involved in the murder of Carlos Ramón Muñoz Montaña (72), a messenger from the Guanare Bar Association, which occurred on Sunday, January 8.
Alexander de Jesús Infante Vargas (24) would have confessed to the Cicpc investigations that Muñoz Montaña was doing witchcraft to him and that he wanted to take away his grandmother’s house, for which he had to kill him.
According to the investigators, Infante Vargas would have beaten the victim, who lived in the back of the victim’s house, until fracturing his skull.
The investigations determined that the deceased today would have worked for the perpetrator’s grandmother and that is why she would have given him lodging in the house.
