The Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (Icaic) programmed as of this Wednesday a series of feature films dedicated to the British musical group the Beatleswhich will be screened at the 23 y 12 cinema in Havana.
The band became a worldwide phenomenon and its transcendent musical legacy was an inspiration to motivate several filmmakers to create audiovisual materials on the group’s influence in the lives of millions of people around the world, reports a dispatch from the Prensa Latina (PL) agency.
By the way, the Cinematheque of Cuba prepared a selection of films and documentaries in homage to the International Day of The Beatles, on January 16, declared by the United Nations Organization in 2013, Cubacine indicated through its Twitter profile.

The cycle of audiovisuals related to the group will begin with the projection of the film I am Samby the American filmmaker Jessie Nelson, highlights the medium.
