The Broad Women’s Front (FAM) issued a statement to support the new Board of Directors of the National Assembly (AN) elected in December 2015, made up of Dinorah Figuera, Auristela Vásquez and Marianella Fernández, after the administration of Nicolás Maduro issued an arrest warrant against him for alleged usurpation of functions.
In the letter, published in the social media On Sunday, January 8, the FAM rejected the accusations that have been made against the three women, who will lead that instance from exile. In this sense, he called on the international community to remain alert to any aggression or violation of the human rights of parliamentarians.
Similarly, they urge all women in the country to support these deputies of the AN 2015 through their signature, while thanking the governments of the United States, Germany, Canada, France and other nations for their support for this Parliament and the Board of Directors.

The Criminal Judicial Circuit of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas reported in Twitter that an arrest warrant was issued against parliamentarians Dinorah Figuera, Marianela Fernández and Auristela Vásquez for allegedly committing the crimes of usurpation of functions, money laundering, criminal association and treason.
In view of this, the Unitary Platform issued a statement on sunday january 8 to condemn the “judicial persecution” by the administration of Nicolás Maduro against the deputies that make up the Board of Directors of the AN 2015 and, like the FAM, called on the international community to be aware of what happens.
The prosecutor appointed by the now extinct constituent assembly, Tarek William Saab, reported on the night of thursday january 5 of the appointment of national prosecutors 67 and 94 to investigate the new “Commission for the Protection of Assets” that the new leadership of the National Assembly (AN) elected in 2015, chaired by Dinorah Figuera, should name soon.
