Alberto Fernández advocated for a "federal and more egalitarian country"

President Alberto Fernandez called this Thursday to make “a federal and more egalitarian country”after his meeting with Buenos Aires mayors at the Chapadmalal presidential residence.

“A new year finds us working together, meeting the needs of the people of Buenos Aires and all of Argentina. Making a federal and more egalitarian country,” the head of state wrote on his Twitter account, where he also shared a photo with mayors of the province of Buenos Aires, the Buenos Aires governor Axel Kicillof and national officials.

Participating in the meeting were the Chief of Staff, Juan Manzur; Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero; the Minister of Social Development, Victoria Toulouse Peace; his pair of Public Works, Gabriel Katopodis; the Argentine ambassador in Brazil, Daniel Scioli; the governor kicillofand the mayors Lucas Ghi (Hummock), Gustavo Barrera (Villa Gesell), Juan Jose Mussi (Berazategui), Mario Secco (Cove), Julio Cesar Marini (Benito Juarez), Gustavo Cocconi (Tapalque), Roxana Sotelo (Mount beautiful), among others.

Prior to the meeting, the President announced the extension of the AUH for children and adolescents without parental care in an act that took place in the city of Mar del Plata, where he maintained that Argentina is a country “in which the only privileged ones are the judges” and affirmed that, following the example of Eva Perón, his government works to make a country “where boys and girls are treated as subjects of law”.
