The Public ministry (MP) ordered the arrest of a citizen identified as Taufik Abouypum El Souud Khawam, for using the Continental Market company and the name of senior state officials to commit fraud, reported the Attorney General of the RepublicTarek William Saab.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, Saab explained that the arrest warrant was requested by the 59th Prosecutor’s Office of the Caracas Metropolitan Area.
«1) NOW Prosecutor 59 AMC, request an arrest warrant against the citizen Taufik Abouypum El Souud Khawam who criminally uses to commit scams: the Continental Market company and the name of high-ranking state officials,” he posted on Twitter.
Likewise, the attorney general, Tarek William Saab, indicated that Taufik Abouypum El Souud Khawam was denounced by several of his victims before the Public Ministry (MP).
In this sense, the citizen Taufik Abouypum El Souud Khawam will be charged with the crimes of: fraud, assumption of validation and generic theft.
“Several of his victims denounced in the @MinpublicoVEN who will charge the crimes of Fraud, Assumption of Valimiento and Generic Theft: The arrest warrant was agreed by the control court 39 Amc,” he said on Twitter.
