It is an initiative that consists of carrying out tours through emblematic sites of Tacuarembó on bicycles with electrical assistance.
The launch event will include a press conference at 10:30 in the morning at the Municipality of Tacuarembó, the launch itself at 18:30 on the Parque Rodó Esplanade.
The day will conclude with a demonstration of tours of three tourist circuits on electro-assisted bicycles at 7:00 p.m.
“Bici Tour Tacuarembó” is a project developed by the Department of Tourism Directorate in conjunction with the Project Directorate of the Municipality of Tacuarembó. Its objective is to diversify the tourist activities that take place in the urban nucleus and its surroundings. The proposal, financed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining (MIEM), consists of the acquisition of 15 electro-assisted bicycles and guided tours that explore the historical, cultural and landscape heritage offered by the department.
