Day 1,015 |  Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 57 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 57 new infections of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours, of which 23 are community and 34 importedwhich raises to 550,126 the accumulated confirmed, with 1,784 active caseswhile the number of recovered stands at 542 thousand 512 patientsthanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Sunday by the executive vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19through his account on the social network Twitter, @delcyrodriguezv.

He reported that community cases are located in: Bolivar (6), Caracas (4), Yaracuy (3), Aragua (2)among others, which are shown in the following slide:

Bolívar is the state that registers the highest number of new community cases (6), with active infections in 1 of its 11 municipalities: Caroní (6).

Of the 34 imported cases, 16 come from Panama, 6 from the Dominican Republic, 6 from Mexico, 4 from Spain and 2 from Türkiye, all entering through La Guaira.

In week 145 and day 1,015 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:

– Total infections: 550 thousand 126

– Recovered patients: 542 thousand 512 (99%).

– Current active cases: Thousand 784.

– Total deaths: Five thousand 830.
