Accompanied by the provincial Security Ministers, Sergio Berni; of Health, Nicolás Kreplak, and of Transportation, Jorge D’Onofrio, and by the local mayor, Guillermo Montenegro, the governor indicated, in turn, that 386 mobile phones will join the operation aimed at strengthening crime prevention in tourist destinations.

In addition, 215 personnel specialized in operational aspects will be incorporated, which include air navigation, transport and airport planning, and three aircraft and two transfer helicopters, five police helicopters and 33 minibuses will be operational.

Berni pointed out that the deployment “is the harbinger of a record season”and assured that the volume of the operation “is the product of the strong commitment that the Buenos Aires government has with all the Argentines who have chosen the natural beauties of this province.”

He also highlighted the monitoring that will be carried out to avoid “forest fires due to drought” during the season.

Along these lines, to prevent and fight fire, the Security portfolio will work through the Civil Defense Directorate with a unified command that has 6,000 firefighters in tourist areas, while a total of 13,000 could be summoned if necessary.

With operational bases in Villa Gesell, La Costa, Miramar and the Sierras de Tornquist, logistical reinforcement was also arranged both in terms of communications such as firefighting, such as tanks and mobile pools with large storage capacity.

The operation, which will initially conclude in the first week of next March, will also have computer stations, municipal monitoring centers, and urban monitoring towers to strengthen security in municipalities such as Pinamar, Villa Gesell, La Costa, General Pueyrredón, and Mar Chiquita. , General Alvarado, Necochea, Tandil, Tres Arroyos, Bahía Blanca, Monte Hermoso and Tornquist.

These tasks will be carried out with the support of drones, tactical trucks, mobile stations and state-of-the-art equipment.

Regarding the health intervention axis of the Sol a Sol Operationthe Tourist Attention System will be made up of more than 1,300 people who make up different health teams, reinforcing en route and fixed attention points, and setting up sanitary posts.

There will be posts on routes 2, 3, 11, 33, 56, 63 and 74, and three mobile units will be located in La Costa, Villa Gesell and Mar del Plata.

The provincial government detailed that there will be more than 45 points distributed throughout the route on the road to the Atlantic Coast and in the districts that comprise it for emergency and pre-hospital care, and logistics will be strengthened with 39 ambulances, among other vehicles.

Comprehensive health posts and a sanitary train will also be deployed: there will be 35 posts in 12 municipalities with 173 provincial health promoters and promoters.

In addition, the sanitary train will be put into operation in the General Pueyrredón district.

IOMA will have 30 fixed posts and 18 mobile ones located in strategic places in the province of Buenos Aires, which provide promo-preventive care: glucose measurement, blood pressure, BMI, advice in Ioma Digiral, benefits, services, medical care.
