The organizational structure of the Ministry of Education with the functional transfer of the Directorates of Educational Media and Educational Informatics, departments that will report to the General Directorate of Curriculumwhich will be the governing body, under the Vice Ministry of Technical and Pedagogical Services.
With this decision, all the actions of these dependencies must be evaluated and approved by the General Directorate of Curriculum. By means of the Departmental Order number 37/2022the minister angel hernandezestablished that all the addresses belonging to that vice-ministry will request through the Directorate of Educational Media the different requirements referred to books, educational resources and teaching materials for schoolswhich will be reviewed according to the established regulations, prior to their channeling to the other agencies involved for their respective acquisitions.
The order establishes that the addresses belonging to the Vice Ministry of Technical Services and Pedagogical that require the execution of actions related to the design of applications and programs for the use of ICT’C and/or the implementation of pedagogical projects of technological origin, must be channeled through the General Directorate of Curriculum with attention to the Directorate of Educational informatics.
The latter will be the liaison with the General Directorates of Information and Communication Technologies and other directorates, for the purpose of coordinating the location.
The order is based on the fact that the educational system assumes that one of the quality indicators of education is the availability, use and adequacy of the resources it has to promote the quality of educational processes.
