A newborn girl was referred to the city of Lima by land, however, she lost her life before reaching the San Borja National Institute of Children’s Health.

The girl, whose identity we will keep confidential, was referred from the Zacarías Correa Valdivia Hospital, whose director, Javier Correa Tineo, stated that the minor did not arrive at the San Borja Children’s Hospital, since her health condition was complicated when they were entering Chincha.
The minor weighed 1 kilo 900 grams and suffered from severe congenital heart disease and biliary atresia.
“Upon arrival in Chincha the baby began to get sick, desaturating, she was admitted to the Chincha hospital to receive emergency care, they intubated her, but unfortunately the girl died”, affirmed Correa Tineo.
When asked if there were roadblocks, he said that there were difficulties along the way, but he denied the issue of roadblocks.
“There are some difficulties along the way, but this particular case, unlike other cases, is not due to road blockades, this has been a complication for the girl, but everything possible was done to save her,” he said. Tineo strap.
