Helicopter fell in San Clemente mountain range: aircraft pilot died

A helicopter overhaul registered in the Andean sector of the commune of San Clemente, in the Maule region, left a balance of one deceased and one injured.

According to information provided by Radio Biobio, the aircraft belongs to the Kipreos Air Service company, which fell due to mechanical causes in the Médano Alto sector. The pilot died at the scene and the helicopter mechanic was injured.

Personnel from the Air Force and Firefighters arrived at the scene to begin the rescue work for the two people who were affected after the fatal incident.

It should be noted that the aircraft carrying the two occupants was not related to the squadrons that are fighting forest fires in the area, but rather was carrying out private maneuvers to transport personnel when it suffered the collision.
