Instagram introduced this Monday morning malfunctions, which are visible when users try to enter the app and can’t. The social network reported that it is investigating the issue and apologized for the inconvenience.

Several hours later, spokesmen for the Meta company assured that the flaws had been resolved: “Earlier today, an error caused some Instagram users to have problems accessing their accounts. This led to a small number of accounts seeing a temporary change in the number of people following them. We resolved the issues as quickly as possible for everyone affected and apologize for the inconvenience.”
For their part, users of the application also complained on Twitter of having lost a considerable number of followers in a few minutes, while other people claimed that a poster had appeared saying that their account had been suspended.
And it is. @instagram says account suspended. As a result it is asking for email ID and phone number.

The online monitoring site down-detector I had anticipated earlier that the failures on Instagram were reported from various countries around the world. The causes of the problem are still unknown.
