Different detachments of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) detained in Bolívar nine individuals associated with the Tancol groups, that is, Armed Terrorists, Colombian Drug Traffickers, according to the description of the military sources.
One of the procedures was carried out in the Perro Seco sector, Angostura del Orinoco municipality (Ciudad Bolívar), where officials attached to Detachment 621 of the GNB seized 12 7.39×62mm caliber cartridges destined for rifles; three telephone sets, two radio transmitters and two detonating cords of 17 meters each.
At the site they also seized three military clothing, two bags, two rubber boots, a balaclava and a cap.
In this operation, the military arrested four members of the Tancol Los Pata-Piche cell, identified as Didier Jhoan Barrios Gutiérrez (of Colombian nationality), José Julián Infante Martínez, Meiglen Alejandro Petit Morales, and Ángel Yoel García Rojas.
And in the El Frío sector, Sifontes municipality (Tumeremo), officials from GNB Detachment 261 seized 30 7.62×51mm caliber cartridges that fit into rifles and a radio transmitter.
Said material was held by Ángel Orono Delgado and José Gregorio Archila, who, when verified by the Integrated Police Information System, turned out to be requested by the 12th Control Court of Bolívar.
The detainees are members of the group founded by Eduardo José Natera Balboa, alias El Run.
Another military procedure was carried out in the Barrio Loco sector, Bolivarian municipality of Angostura (Ciudad Piar), where they arrested a member of the criminal organization El Ciego, registered as Jhoel Fernández Cordero García.
Two radio transmitters were seized from the detainee, according to the report of Detachment 620 of the GNB.
Also in Ciudad Piar, but in the El Chivo sector, they arrested two other members of the El Ciego organization, registered as: Samuel Alfredo Escalona and Johan Eliezer Romero Rebolledo.
These individuals were carrying a 9 mm caliber pistol, a magazine containing two cartridges, three portable radio batteries, a smartphone and an Empire motorcycle.
The Public Ministry opened several files for illicit possession of war material, illicit possession of ammunition and criminal association, among other crimes.
