The 45 years of the Plaza de Mayo Grandmothers Association will be celebrated this Wednesday with an artistic act called “Grandmothers 45 years. The search continues” at the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK).
On behalf of the national government, the ministers of Defense, Jorge Taiana; of Culture, Tristán Bauer; and Environment and Sustainable Development, Juan Cabandié.
The activities will begin at 5:30 p.m., in room 123, basement, of the CCK, where the photographic exhibition “Granddaughters and grandchildren”, by Alejandro Reynoso, with texts by María Eugenia Ludueña. Fifty-five portraits of restituted grandsons and granddaughters make up this exhibition.
The act is free and free admission, tickets can be booked through the cultural center website.
Meanwhile, starting at 6:00 p.m., the doors of the “Ballena Azul” room will open to be able to participate in the institutional artistic event which will be conducted by the grandsons Manuel Gonçalves Granada and Leonardo Fossati, with music, poetry and words.
The concert will feature the participation of prominent artists, who will go up on stage in different blocks, in recognition of the 45 years of struggle of the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo.

The ensemble has Nicolás Sorín as director, and among the artists will be Victor Heredia, Kevin Johansen, Lula Bertoldi Julián Kartun and Lucho Miloccoamong others.
Poets will also participate Simón Azar, Alba Duarte, Gala Halfon, Luliibeats, NTC, Juan Rey, Pilar Sanjurjo Murujosa and Micaela Tapia.
The proposal will bring together great songs by León Gieco, María Elena Walsh and Spinetta performed by the ensemble and guest singers. There will also be poets, freestylers and beatboxers.
In addition, the Children’s area of the Kirchner Cultural Center, together with the press, dissemination and education area of Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo, designed a fold-out material that will be delivered to the public in the different activities related to the 45 years of Abuelas.
