Santo Domingo.-The Central Electoral Board (JCE) reiterated on Monday its deep concern for the “overflow of the proselytizing electoral process carried out by some political parties and that seriously threatens to undermine electoral integrity, potentially causing disaffection throughout the system.”
In a statement, the JCE He assured that “it has the irrefutable commitment to comply with and enforce the electoral regulations; maintain trust, electoral integrity and equal competence of political organizations in the electoral process as a basis for strengthening democracy”.
In this sense, the Plenary of the JCE convened for next Thursday a meeting with all the presidents and general secretaries of the recognized political organizations, so that they commit to the integrity of the 2024 general elections.
