Lacalle Pou gave awards to teachers

Social, Pablo Mieres, and Education and Culture, Pablo da Silveira, participated this Friday 21 in the award ceremony for outstanding teachers from all over the country. The ceremony was held on the occasion of the 10th Fair of Good Practices in Education of the Santa Elena Institute and UNESCO.

Also participating in the meeting were the specialist of the Education Program of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco), Zelmira May; the general director of the Santa Elena Institute, Pablo Cayota, and the president of the Broad Front, Fernando Pereira.

Upon his arrival, President Lacalle Pou toured the stands located in the educational center and was one of those in charge of giving recognition to the teachers for their work.

The activity organized by the Santa Elena school and UNESCO was held under the name «Dr. Juan Carlos Tedesco”, and ended with the delivery of gifts by students of the institution to Lacalle Pou and the other authorities present.
