The Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services of Santiago postponed until next Tuesday, the 25th of this month, the mandatory review hearing of the coercion measure against the former director of Comunidad Digna, Juan Maldonado, charged in the alleged money laundering network from drug trafficking dismantled through Operation Falcon.
The Court adopted the decision because the Public Ministry was not notified of the hearing.
The new hearing is scheduled to start at 9:00 in the morning of the aforementioned date.
Recently, Judge Job García, of the Second Investigating Court, changed the measure of coercion against Maldonado from preventive detention to electronic shackles and an impediment to leaving the country.
In addition to the former public official, they also plan to review the coercive measures against the brothers Alberto De Jesús Polanco (El Prieto) and Alberto Emmanuel De Jesús Polanco (Manny).
