The presidential candidate for Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Francis Dominguez Britosaid that he bets on the unity of the organization after the results of the process to choose his candidate.
He argued that this consultation process represents the strength of the PLD and the possibility of removing the PRM.
Before voting at table 103 of the electoral college 0412 that works at the Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes Women’s Polytechnic, he asked the other candidates to respect the results.
Domínguez Brito was accompanied by his wife Elizabeth de Domínguez, his mother Elsa Brito de Domínguez and his brother Pedro Domínguez.
Upon his departure, he said that he seeks to make a government without exclusion, as he assures is managed by the current authorities. He said that the results will be awaited at the PLD national house by all the candidates as a sign of unity.
“Don’t stop participating, go vote,” he invited.
He explained that so far the process is going smoothly, and he trusts that everything will turn out well and the PLD will be more united.
Regarding the flow of people, he said that as the day progresses the flow will change. He explained that there are many centers, which means there are no crowds or long lines.
“Immediately start the contest, or we will be in the national house of the PLD, united waiting for the results. Everything will be fine,” he concluded.
