Santo Domingo. World Wide Group, in the person of its Chairman Zanoni Selig welcomed the new ambassador of the Republic of Germany Maike Friedrichsen. The event was also conducive to celebrating the ties that unite the insurance group with that nation.
Friedrichsen, who assumes her duties at the head of the German legation, is a lawyer with a master’s degree in Law and Economics. She has represented her country in the United States, Canada, Nicaragua, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, where she has managed to consolidate a vast experience in the region.
“For World Wide Group It was an honor to receive the new German representative in the company of Jan Groß, Vice President of DEG Invest. She is also accompanied by Andreas Zeisler, head of DEG’s Financial Institutions department. They are in the country as part of their work as representatives of the WWG shareholder.
Zanoni Selig, Chairman of the WorldWide Group, expressed his satisfaction at receiving Friedrichsen, “to whom we offer our support during his stay in the country. For us, Germany is a country that has provided a lot of support to our group, thanks to the backing of DEG, who entered the insurance sector hand in hand with WWG”.
At the meeting, the WorldWide Group business model was presented. It has two shareholders: Landeshut Holdings, owned by Zanoni Selig and leadership in the insurance sector in the region.
