Senator Juan Castro confirms that Pancho Malo will be at a parallel table for the constituent process: “I don’t know his record”

The senator John Castro (IND-RN), confirmed that the leader of Team Patriota, Francis Munoz (better known Pancho Malo), will participate this Thursday, October 13, in the parallel table on the constituent process.

The event will take place with the participation of the Republican Party, Amarillos por Chile and other groups, including Team Patriota, headed by Pancho Malo, former leader of the White Claw.

Regarding this, Castro affirmed that everyone has the right to participate and that they will listen to civil society organizations. “Francisco Muñoz (Pancho Malo) is someone who also has an organization and has asked us to be part of it and to be able to present his ideas. And we are here to listen,” the senator said.

When asked about Muñoz’s criminal record, Castro pointed out that “the truth is that I don’t know of any criminal record, for me he is just another Chilean. When people have criminal records, they are most likely in prison,” he said.

In addition, he said that he was “absolutely not worried” about the funas and interventions that Pancho Malo has made, since “when people are not listened to, they obviously react badly, and I don’t know if they have listened to Francisco.”

It should be noted that the former leader of the White Claw was arrested in 2000, and later convicted of murdering a young man during a fight in the Vitacura district.
