They rescue a girl and recover the body of a woman after an avalanche in Colón

The rains on Friday in the province of Colón caused flooding in several sectors and a landslide in a residence located in the Cativá district, where two people were buried.

It was an eight-year-old minor, who was rescued alive during the early hours of this Saturday by the Sinaproc rescue team. The other person was a woman, whose lifeless body was recovered.

The rains that fall in the province of Colón are a consequence of tropical storm Julia, which keeps the country on yellow alert.
