Asian merchants caught red-handed selling clandestine chance

Two Asian merchants were detected carrying out the illegal sale of chances and clandestine tickets, this through an operation carried out by the Municipality of San Miguelito, the Ministry of Commerce and Industries and members of the National Police, the National Charity Lottery (LNB).

This operation was carried out in the communities of San Isidro and Santa Librada, in commercial premises that used their businesses as a front for this crime.

The authorities managed to seize money, lists of numbers and printers.

The inspections were carried out in the morning hours, in two mini-supermarkets and two merchants of Asian origin were caught red-handed carrying out this activity. Both merchants were summoned to be interviewed by a compliance judge on duty and the Justice of the Peace, in addition to the detected businesses, the sanction contemplated by law will be applied, amounting to up to five thousand balboas in fines.
