This Thursday afternoon, the lifeless body of the missing man was located on the Morillo Bridge in the municipality Valenciaafter falling into the Cabriales river during the heavy downpour recorded this Wednesday.
The discovery was made on the banks of the river, specifically at Hacienda La Esperanza, Paso Ancho community, via El Paito, located south of the capital of Carabobo.
Officials from the Central Strategic Region for Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (Redan), Carabobo Firefighters, Valencia Firefighters, Cicpc and Civil Protection volunteers participated in the search efforts.
The body was transferred to the morgue of the Ciudad Hospitalaria Dr. Enrique Tejera in Valencia, for identification.

In the afternoon of this Wednesday, a video was broadcast on social networks where a man with dark skin and blue flannel was observed under the Morillo Bridge, resisting so as not to be dragged by the turbulent waters.
People who were near the place, contacted the firefighters for their prompt rescue. However, heavy rains prevented it. The search was resumed on Thursday morning.
Naguanagua
After the ravages of the electrical storm that hit Naguanagua for more than two hours, Ana González, mayor of the municipality, toured the affected areas.
The municipal president was accompanied by a multidisciplinary team made up of Civil Protection personnel, UC Firefighters, Municipal Police and volunteer rescue groups.
During the tour, González supervised the removal of tree branches that obstructed the roads and the restitution of the electrical service in sectors such as Las Quintas, among others.
«It was necessary to go to the communities and take a tour to see how the neighbors were and continue with the technical and strategic actions against the faults that these downpours naturally leave us. Thank God there were no serious incidents that caused material damage or human losses, “he said.
The mayor asked the population for calm before the passage of the valley through the national territory and assured that the security and rescue forces remain on alert.
