Alberto Fernández leads a book delivery ceremony in Marcos Paz

President Alberto Fernández led this Monday morning, together with the Minister of Education, Jaime Perczyk, the delivery of literature books, within the framework of the “Books to Learn” Program, in the Buenos Aires city of Marcos Paz.

The activity took place in the Marcos Paz Kindergarten No. 915, reported the Presidency.

Fernández stressed that his Government has distributed 12 million books and that he hopes that by December 2023 36 million will have been delivered.

The President stated that “the magic in a book is unique” and maintained that “not to lose the habit of reading in the new generations is absolutely imperative.”

Fernandez argued that “the investment that the State makes in education is the best it can do, because the richest societies are not those that have oil, lithium, gold, but those that have developed the intelligence of their societies.”
