Venezuela repudiates the accusations without legal basis “without the slightest methodological support or direct contact with the reality of the country”, of the so-called International Mission to Determine the Facts, “in a new pamphlet presented this September 26, 2022 before the Council of Human Rights of the United Nations Organization”.
Through a releasepublished by the Foreign Ministry, Venezuela rejects the politicized handling of the Human Rights issue as an attack maneuver against the Venezuelan State and Government.
The document adds that this politicized use of human rights is used “as a tool to undermine the sovereignty of those States that do not submit to the designs of hegemonic control desired by some powers.”
“On this occasion, through a new pseudo report, without the slightest methodological support or direct contact with the reality of the country, the intention is to continue attacking Venezuelan institutions, as part of the criminal strategy of ‘regime change’ that It is promoted by the government of the United States of America, with the complicity of its satellite governments in the world,” the statement added.

“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its most categorical repudiation of the false and baseless accusations made by the alleged International Fact-Finding Mission, in a new pamphlet presented this September 26, 2022 before the Human Rights Council of the Organization of United Nations.
This mechanism, created in 2019 from a disputed resolution promoted by a small group of governments with serious internal situations of human rights violations, is a clear example of double standards, selectivity and the politicized use of human rights as a tool to undermine the sovereignty of those States that do not submit to the designs of hegemonic control desired by some powers.
On this occasion, through a new pseudo report, without the slightest methodological support or direct contact with the reality of the country, the intention is to continue attacking Venezuelan institutions, as part of the criminal strategy of ‘regime change’ that is promoted from the government of the United States of America, with the complicity of its satellite governments in the world.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is a democratic and social State, of Law and Justice, which assumes the promotion, respect and protection of human rights as a superior value of its legal system and the actions of its institutions, in full accordance with its international commitments in this matter.
Venezuela reiterates its absolute ignorance of this type of parallel, barbaric and interfering mechanisms that, through its pronouncements, uplift and encourage the most extremist sectors to repeat the massive violation of the human rights of Venezuelans and the destabilization of the country.
Likewise, it alerts the promoters of this initiative that it will take the pertinent political and diplomatic measures, in the bilateral and multilateral sphere, against any attempt to continue prolonging the mandate of this mechanism of aggression against legitimate Venezuelan institutions, in clear violation of the Charter of the United Nations, the pertinent resolutions of the General Assembly and the institution-building package of the Human Rights Council, among other relevant instruments.
Finally, Venezuela ratifies that it will continue to cooperate with the Human Rights Council, always on the basis of strict adherence to the principles of objectivity, non-selectivity, impartiality, non-interference in internal affairs, respect for multilateralism and constructive dialogue.
