CONTEXT
In October 2021, the National Anti-Drug Secretariat (Senad) and the Public Ministry captured the leaders and financiers of the criminal organization responsible for mega loads of cocaine in containers. On that occasion, at least seven interventions were carried out in various parts of the country.
Miguel Ángel Servín, a native of Pedro Juan Caballero, was arrested on the public thoroughfare of Villa Morra. According to the investigation, he is directly linked to the mega load of cocaine, bound for Israel and Portugal, seized by the National Police in 2020.
“Operation Belia” is an investigative task coordinated with the Public Ministry that required at least 2 years to identify the scheme.
The dismantled organization would be one of the main ones in terms of handling large volumes of drugs in containers.
FAITH CHANGES
Fe Cambios appears in investigations related to Darío Messer, convicted of money laundering in Brazil. The company was denounced by the Brazilian Prosecutor’s Office in 2019 for collaborating in the concealment of Darío Messer from the Brazilian Justice. The company was key for Messer to be able to move and transfer resources during his stay in Paraguay. This within the framework of the “Pattern” operation.
