The National Seismological Service of Mexico reported this Thursday that there have been at least 1,459 aftershocks of the magnitude 7.7 earthquake recorded on September 19, with an epicenter in Michoacán.
One of the strongest aftershocks was the 6.9-degree one recorded early today, which left two dead in Mexico City.
The president of the North American country, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, lamented the death of two people.
